Job responsibilities include:
- Developing new software and configuration and adaptation of existing software that controls our modular range of Lab Automation solutions
- Commissioning and debugging of the control software for global customers
- Set-up of training and test documentation of the developed software
- Active member of our software team that exists of both external and internal developers
- Product Development (develop and implement adjustments to existing software, development of software for new machines)
Profile
The software engineer preferably has a Bachelor degree (HBO) in the field of Information technology, Software engineering, Mechatronics or Electrical engineering. Affinity with Microbiology and/or Lab automation would be positive. He/she has worked in a position as (junior) software engineer preferably in the fields of web-based visualization, industrial automation and/or robotics. Experience with one or more of the following programming languages is a prerequisite: PHP / Python / Javascript / CSS. Acquaintance with Linux OS, Codesys, PLC software and MySQL is an advantage. Knowledge of control technology and/or electronics is a plus. The candidate is characterized by a proactive and professional attitude. An independent work attitude, solution-oriented thinking and creativity are typical for the candidate.
